I used to be like you!

I used to be like you. I had a blog and I donated hours of work to make it perfect. I was doing really well and was getting over 100 unique visitors per day. I really enjoyed working with the blog, and looked foreward to writing new articles, improving the look and conversing with the people who visited it. It was fun, but not that fun. Wouldn't it be great I thought, if I could just monetize this blog a bit better, and get some decent cash for my effort.

Adsense doesn't work.

I tried adsense, however no matter how many people clicked on my links, I was still only getting a puny amount of money, as google only payed on average about $0.20 per click!

There Is An Another Way.

Adsense is what's called "pay per click", where you get paid every time someone clicks a link. You might think this sounds great, but its not. Google's advertising system is a rip off.

But that's not all. The biggest problem is that when people pay both you and google to advertise on your site, they're making more money off every click than you are, why else would they be doing it?

So Cut Out The Middle Man!

Ever heard of affiliate networks? Basically they allow you to promote products on your website or blog, and when someone purchases a product that you recomended to them, you get a cut of the profit. This is called affiliate marketing. You can get paid by using your website or blog to promote products.

Its win-win.

You can promote products that you like, and in return get paid commisson. Its easy to do, and requires no real changes. The affiliate network will provide you with links that you can use to promote products. All you have to do is integrate these links into whatever you are writing about at the time.

Sometimes its even easier than that! There are deals where you will get as much as $5.00 just for getting people to submit their email addresses! Affiliate marketing is easy and it works.

Many people, including me, make their living from affiliate marketing. In fact, I now make so much money off affiliate marketing, that I no longer have to work! All I do is spend a few hours a day writing to my blog and promoting products!

To prove how much I make look at the following picture:

That picture shows my monthly earnings report on my affiliate network. As you can see, the total commission is a whopping $9457.50. And that was on an average month. What I really want to bring your attention to is where it says EPC and underneath that $0.74. EPC stand for "Earnings per click", and as you can see my EPC for that month was, on average, $0.74.

$0.74 is over 3 times the amount of cash google would have given you per click! Not only that, when you integrate offers into your website, instead of having adverts at the side, you get far more clicks!

Lets say for example that your EPC is the same as mine, $0.74. If every day you get 10 people reading an article that promotes a product, and 5 out of the 10 click the link, that's $3.7 per day for that article, that's about $111 per month for one article!! Now compare that to what you're making at the moment!

You don't just have to be a blog owner to do affiliate marketing, you just need to find a way to integrate these offers into your website.
